SWFL Trade Circle respects intellectual property rights and expects everyone using our website to do the same.

This page explains ownership of website content, permitted use, and how to report a copyright or other intellectual property concern.

Ownership of Content

Original content created and owned by SWFL Trade Circle—including original website text, graphics, and design elements—is protected by copyright where applicable.

Other materials appearing on the website may belong to their respective creators, businesses, contributors, or licensors. We do not claim ownership of third-party material merely because it appears on the website.

Copyright protection does not extend to facts, public-domain material, or other elements that are not protected by applicable law.

Business Names, Logos, and Trademarks

Business names, logos, service marks, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

The appearance of a business or its branding on SWFL Trade Circle does not, by itself, establish a partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with SWFL Trade Circle.

You may not use our name or branding to falsely suggest that we have certified, approved, insured, or guaranteed your business or services.

Using Website Content

You may browse the website and share links to its publicly accessible pages.

Except where permitted by applicable law, an applicable license, or the relevant rights holder, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit protected content from the website.

Giving credit or linking to a source does not, by itself, grant permission to reproduce protected material.

Remove copyright notices or watermarks to conceal ownership.
Use another business’s branding to impersonate it.
Upload material in violation of a license or agreement.
Assume that publicly accessible material is automatically free to reuse.

Permission to manage a business listing does not necessarily establish ownership of every photograph, logo, or other item associated with that business.

Reporting a Copyright Concern

If you believe material on SWFL Trade Circle infringes your copyright, or you are authorized to act for the copyright owner, email:

Please include:

Your contact information: Your name, mailing address, email address, and a telephone number where you can be reached.
Identification of the work: Describe the copyrighted work involved. If available, include a link to an authorized example or other information that helps identify it.
Location of the disputed material: Provide the exact URL of each affected page and identify the specific image, text, or other material.
Your authority: Explain whether you own the copyright or are acting for the owner.
A good-faith statement: State that you believe the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
An accuracy and authority statement: State that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Your signature: Include your physical or electronic signature.

A copyright registration number may help identify a work, but we do not require one merely to receive a report.

Please identify specific material rather than requesting removal of an entire business listing without explaining the alleged infringement.

Do not send passwords, financial information, or photo identification with your copyright report.

How We Handle Reports

We will assess reports and may request clarification or supporting information.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we may remove or disable access to material, contact the person responsible for it, or take other appropriate action.

Removal while a concern is reviewed does not necessarily mean we have determined that infringement occurred. Likewise, receiving a report does not automatically establish the reporting party’s ownership or entitlement to removal.

We may retain records needed to document and resolve a complaint, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Where a statutory notice-and-takedown procedure applies, we will handle the matter according to that procedure rather than treating this general policy as a substitute.

If Your Content Is Removed

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, contact info@swfltradecircle.com.

Identify the affected material, explain why you believe its use is lawful, and provide relevant permission, licensing, ownership, or other supporting information.

An informal request for reconsideration is not automatically a formal statutory counter-notification. If a formal counter-notification procedure applies, its legal requirements and consequences must be addressed separately.

Do not repeatedly upload disputed material to bypass a restriction while the issue remains unresolved.

Trademark and Impersonation Concerns

For concerns involving a business name, logo, trademark, or false affiliation, email us with:

The relevant mark or business identity.
The page containing the disputed use.
Your relationship to the rights holder.
An explanation of why the use is misleading or unauthorized.
Relevant registration or supporting details, if available.

A reference to a business name is not necessarily a violation. We consider the specific use and available information.

Listing Access Disputes

If your concern is that another person controls your business listing, contact us through Contact Us and request a business listing ownership or transfer review.

Access to a listing does not determine legal ownership of a business, trademark, photograph, or other intellectual property.

Accurate Reports and Repeat Violations

Do not use intellectual property complaints to suppress honest criticism, resolve unrelated business disagreements, or harass another user.

Knowingly false allegations or misrepresentations may have legal consequences.

We may restrict or terminate accounts associated with repeated infringement in appropriate circumstances, consistent with applicable law and our Terms of Service.

Privacy of Complaint Information

Information submitted with a complaint is used to assess and respond to it.

We may share relevant information with the person responsible for the disputed material, service providers assisting with the review, legal advisers, or authorities when appropriate or required by law.

We cannot promise that a complaint will remain anonymous. Do not include sensitive information unrelated to the issue.
